Do you have a car park?
The hotel does not have a car park. There are three long stay car parks within a 5-minute walk of the hotel:
Cattle Market – The post code is PE27 5JE. This car park is next to the Bus Station and offers long stay, £3 for 23 hours.
Darwoods Pond- The post code is PE27 5PE
Globe Place – The post code is PE27 5PP
What time is breakfast served for residents?
Monday – Friday 07:00am – 09:00am
Saturday & Sunday 08:00am – 10:00am
Are you dog friendly?
Your four-legged friends are very welcome to visit the Golden Lion, where you can dine with your well behaved dog in our bar area.
In regards to staying with us, we do have a set few rooms in which we allow dogs to stay in, please phone us direct to book a dog friendly room on 01480 492100.
There is a charge of £15 per night for up to two dogs.
Accessibility
As the building is 300 years old we are unable to fit a lift into the hotel. Our restaurant and bar facilities are all on the ground floor.
There are no ground floor bedrooms at the hotel
What time is check in and check out?
Check in time is from 3pm on the day of your arrival. We cannot guarantee an early check in, however, if your room is ready before 3pm you are welcome to check in early at no charge.
Check out is by 11am on the day of departure.
